Operations Analyst
Job Scope
The Operations Analyst is accountable for reviewing a company’s policies, procedures and functions to find areas of improvement. S/he is involved in reviewing company data, builds reports based on these findings and recommends programs to improve the company’s performance metrics.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect and organize information from various sources
- Conduct interviews with all stakeholders and review processes
- Identify and solve problems in various fields or specialized areas
- Examine the data to figure out what is important to the problem and which methods are best to analyze it
- Use statistical methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems
- Advise managers on findings and the various courses taken to address the problem
- Write memos and reports for managers to look over the findings and recommendations.
- Ensure stability of the platforms by running proactive Health Checks
- Handle technical issues end to end towards closure & take CTS support if additional support is required
- Troubleshoot any technical issues raised by different team
- Verify traffic trends are in line with normal trends else raise concern with other network teams
- DRDL Signature Bundle Update to maintain services classification accuracy and to recognize new apps traffic added in Signature bundle
- Enabling of custom reports based on requirement
- Interact with signature team for any new requests and providing required captures for developing signatures
- Analyze and creation of Statistics Report (Weekly, Monthly & Ad hoc Reports ..)
- FTTH E2E Mapping data updates on system to maintain location & devices level report accuracy
- Enabling/Disabling shaping/throttling based on requirement during congestion, Blocking specific app traffic as per the requirement
- Responsible for day-to-day coordination, supervision and updating the DPI
- Analyze the DPI capacities and operational reports
- Participate in evaluating Activates new expansion and Integration
- Responsible for management of design documentation and procedures.
- Handling Packet Brocker & URL Filtering Health Check
- Handling Packet Brocker & URL Filtering Setup and requirements(As operation and any new integration or abnormality)
Position Requirements
- Basic skills evaluation and making training objective for individual.
- Technical training, Including theoretical training and practicing, combining theory with practice
- Give guidance and advice to the CUSTOMER O&M staff on O&M activities.
- Case study, comment and analysis.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
