Job Scope
The Account Manager is accountable for the promotion of MDS products/services related to data center and network infrastructure, business continuity, disaster recovery, information and Cyber Security through a well-defined strategy and sound partnerships with existing/potential partners. S/He works towards optimizing sales volumes and champions marketing programs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Data Management and AI target across the KSA in the focus accounts in the KSA selected by the Regional Sales Manager.
- Define the sales strategy and roadmap of the assigned product/service line within his focused accounts.
- Manage the entire sales life cycle in the assigned focused accounts from prospecting to closing.
- Specify customer requirements for current and future products/services by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to existing and potential customers.
- Lead the vendors’ relations in alignment with the company’s management and strategy in the assigned country/accounts.
- Develop close relationship with key decision makers in the assigned accounts.
- Assist in building and maintaining a solid customer database, analyze data and develop metrics to evaluate loyalty and new opportunities.
- Secure the highest level of engagement and support to channel partners and respond to Main Duties and issues and/or queries in order to efficiently meet customers’ needs, Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with the marketing team to design and implement marketing activities for the assigned products/services in KSA.
- Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports in line with business objectives.
- Promote the company and its product/service line within the region.
- Put available systems into practice (salesforce.com CRM for leads, opportunity and deal registration management) for output efficiency and standardization.
Position Requirements
- Basic Understanding of AI and Data: While not necessarily a hands-on technical role, a solid grasp of how AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud computing work is crucial.
- Salesforce or CRM Tools: Experience using CRM software to track account progress, customer engagement, and sales.
- Data Analytics Tools: Knowledge of common analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) can be helpful in understanding client needs and providing insights.
- Understanding of Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is often required, as many AI and data solutions are cloud-based.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or any other related field.
Experience
5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
