Project Engineer
Job Scope
The Project Engineer is responsible for all engineering and technical tasks involved in a project including scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing and managing all related activities aiming at timely deliverables and client satisfaction. S/He communicates regularly with the client and oversees project teams optimizing performance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Interact with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them on site
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned projects
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Manager(s) and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Lead primary design direction and collaboration between teams
- Develop and present all RFIs and RFP's responses
- Implement safety procedures and guidelines for safe working conditions within all facilities
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, policies, performance standards and specifications
- Perform overall quality control and report regularly on project status
- Evaluate interface between hardware, software and performance requirements of overall systems in place
- Prepare and submit status and other relevant project reports
- Modify project plans and schedules to ensure contract parameters are met
- Analyze project performance and related metrics and recommend solutions optimizing workflows and efficiency
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other related field
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience
