Production Supervisor - Generator Canopy & Steel Fabrication
Job Scope
The Production Supervisor is accountable to ensure day-to-day fabrication and assembly operations run smoothly, safely, and meet production targets and technical standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise steel cutting, bending, welding, and assembly operations.
- Coordinate machine operators and fabrication workers across shifts.
- Monitor daily output to align with weekly container delivery targets.
- Interpret fabrication drawings and assist in layout planning.
- Ensure that all operations follow safety protocols and QA/QC procedures.
- Support planning and material control with inventory forecasting.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime of key equipment.
Position Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience in metal fabrication or container manufacturing.
- Practical knowledge of CNC machines, MIG/TIG welding, and steelwork.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on two-shift production cycles.
Education
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology.
Experience
At least 5 years of relevant experience
