Job Scope

MBCOM Technologies is a subsidiary of Midis Group  and is the sole representative of Broadcom Software in Middle East, Turkey, Africa, Eastern Europe and CIS.

 

As a Presales Engineer you will be interacting externally with customers with a multitude of different requirements. Internally you will work with colleagues across the business from sales people to delivery experts to highly skilled engineers and your peers. Your creativity coupled with your active listening and analytical skills will be key to positioning and selling the best solutions to provide desired business outcomes and maximum value for our customers.

You will also be working on solving complex customer business requirements and large outcome driven transformations design and recommendations. You will be expected to use your problem-solving and technical capabilities in creating outcomes driven based on multi dimensional solutions and long-term digital transformation roadmaps.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will be working directly with customers to actively listen, understand, challenge, and help to understand their business requirements.
  • Articulate the overall Information Security value proposition, integration potential, vision, and strategy to customers and partners.
  • Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to develop a cyber security strategy based on customer requirements.
  • You will be proposing architectural designs that not only deliver technical change but also take into consideration people and processes.
  • Collaboratively develop and articulate an end-to-end solution, inclusive of consulting, professional services, and implementation design.
  • Drive customer success by partnering with internal and external stake-holders including sales, product management, support, and partners.
  • Consult with customers on product performance inclusive of sizing, tuning and configuration, and recommend solution best practices.
  • Provide technical assistance to aid in closing complex and competitive opportunities by acting as the customer technical advisor, using industry and competitive knowledge and technical skills.
  • Present the solution to both technical and non-technical audience as well to senior management about Risk Mitigation strategy and value proposition (CAPEX, OPEX, TCO & ROI).
  • Responsible for all the technical sales actives including presentation, technical workshop, architecture design sessions, demonstrations, proof of concept, responding to RFP/RFI.
  • 40% travel across Africa region.

Position Requirements

  • Broad product and solution knowledge of market trends in the Cyber Security & IT industry and business.
  • Deep technical expertise across one or more of the following disciplines: Endpoint Security, Data Loss Prevention, Email Security and Network Security.
  • Ability to relate to a wide range of technical staff and leaders in customer environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit to problem solving.
  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and follow-through on projects with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze problems and develop strategic and tactical plans.
  • Previous customer-facing experience is preferred, such as a Presales Engineer or Consulting Engineer.
  • Security Certifications such as CISSP, CISM and cloud security preferred.
  • Strong communication abilities in both written, and verbal form to a variety of audiences in English & French.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based architecture and software deployment is a plus.

Experience

10+ years of successful technical systems experience in sales engineering or professional services within the security, security consulting and/or data protection industry.
