Manager - Taxation & Corporate Finance
Job Scope
The Manager - Taxation and Corporate Finance is accountable for delivering timely and accurate reporting while ensuring compliance of affiliates with all regulations and legislations, by country of operation. S/he will also support in special projects as guided by the direct manager.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Taxation
- Stay abreast of taxes and VAT laws and proposed legislations;
- Audit compliance of companies with local laws and legislations in coordination with the direct manager;
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure consistency in tax reporting and documentation across international operations;
- Follow up with the lines of business on timely submission of corporate income taxes;
- Research tax issues, report recommendations to direct manager and take actions accordingly;
- Provide guidance on financial policies and processes, review and validate drafts with the concerned;
- Highlight the possibility of tax reduction with adequate set-up;
- Act as a key point of contact for tax-related queries from internal teams, including finance, legal, and business units;
- Support tax-related training initiatives for internal teams to enhance awareness of compliance requirements;
- Monitor transfer pricing policies and intercompany transactions to ensure compliance with international tax regulations;
Special Projects
- Build a proper archive and data system for the department;
- Assist in conducting assigned studies and reviews of local processes to align with applicable laws and regulations;
- Handle any new arising task/project as assigned by the direct manager.
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance
Experience
At least 7 years of relevant experience
