Senior Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Scope

The Senior Presales Consultant based in Spain (preferably Madrid or Barcelona) will play a crucial role in the continued success of Kyriba, the leading and fastest growing treasury technology solution in the world.
We are a small team of distinguished and valued treasury and technology experts. We listen, educate, evangelize, advise, consult, demonstrate and inspire. We are Presales. 
We work hand-in-hand with the Sales team providing product, business and technical knowledge in support of securing new business opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•    We strive to understand our Customers’ business and technical problems
•    We use our knowledge and skills to suggest how these are addressed by Kyriba
•    We develop and deliver Kyriba demonstrations
•    We represent Kyriba at events such as conferences, seminars & webinars
•    We use our expertise to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
•    We stand between Product Managers/Developers and Sales
•    We stay abreast of Kyriba roadmap
•    We stay current and relevant in business requirements, regulations, technologies and competition

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field

Experience

•    5-20+ years relevant experience in treasury, cash management or corporate finance, or in a technology role related to these practices
•    developed technical mind and practical skills in configuring complex processes in computer applications
•    strong presentation skills and professionalism in communication – verbal and written
•    organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
•    able to communicate technical and business information to varied audiences, including at executive level
•    curious mindset and broad corporate experience to quickly build a picture of the client’s financial & technical architecture
•    comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
•    excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
•    prepared for some travel (around 10%)
