Job Scope

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Account Executive focused on driving new logo growth in Spain. This is a mid-career to senior-level role, perfect for a results-driven sales professional with a strong understanding of financial technology solutions and a proven track record of closing high-value deals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across Spain, focusing on acquiring new logos and expanding Kyriba's market presence.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to the Spanish market to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and up-to-date forecasting and reporting.
  • Client Engagement: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations, understanding their needs and positioning Kyriba's solutions effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, customer success and legal, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

Position Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role within the financial technology or SaaS industry, preferably in the Iberia region/Spain.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets, particularly in acquiring new logos.
  • Strong understanding of treasury and financial processes. Ability to articulate the value of complex technology offerings.
  • Ability to drive sales independently and create strong relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or any other related field.

Experience

At least 7 years of relevant experience.
