Job Scope

The Channel Executive is accountable for implementing the sales strategy while managing account profiles and planning a growing market share through achieving personal targets. S/He monitors competitors’ activities, deals with resellers and coordinates with the marketing team on channel activities and programs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement the channel strategy and roadmap of the assigned service/product’s line in coordination with the direct manager
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing channels/DISTRIBUTORS/clients to expand sales in the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain a solid channel PARTNERS/DISTRIBUTORS/customer database, analyze data and report on metrics
  • Conduct market research supported by on-going visits to existing and potential Channel PARTNERS/ DISTRIBUTORS and recommend new product/service opportunities
  • Handle the entire sales cycle from quotation to collection INSTEAD OF THIS: MAINTAIN & GROW CHANNEL PIPELINE AND AID IN SALES CYCLE FROM QUOTATION TO COLLECTION
  • Track credit and/or payment performance, review outstanding settlements and escalate issues when needed
  • Generate sales for the entire service/product line in terms of long-term revenue and profitability
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and other periodic reports in line with business objectives
  • Promote the service(s)/product(s) and the company within the region
  • Coordinate the implementation of targeted programs and marketing activities, monitor progress and raise recommendations to direct manager
  • Put available systems into practice (salesforce.com CRM for leads, opportunity and deal registration management) for output efficiency and standardization.
  • HIRE CHANNEL PARTNERS, ONBOARD AND ENABLE THEM INLINE WITH COMPANY GOALS AND TARGETS

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or any other related field.

Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience.
