Job Scope

The IT Security Engineer is accountable for designing, building and enforcing policies and protocols that protect the organization’s computing infrastructure from all forms of threats. S/He provides the organization with advanced solution on cyber threats and helps create strategies to protect network from breaches.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. 7+ years’ experience in technical support department
2. Advanced expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls (e.g.,Fortinet).
3. Management of Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for protecting web applications from attacks (e.g. Forti WAF).
4. Administration of enterprise-grade antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
5. Configuration, maintenance, and operation of email security gateways (e.g., FortiMail).
6. Implementation and support of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) frameworks.
7. Network Access Control (NAC) deployment and integration.
8. Administration of centralized authentication systems (e.g., TACACS+, RADIUS).
9. Advanced knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
10. Conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reporting.
11. Proficient in cloud networking services such as VPN gateways, virtual network peering, and cloud firewalls.
12. Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
13. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in security
14. Additional: certified in Fortinet NSE (5,6,7) and above.

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CE, CIS or related field

Experience

At least 7 years of relevant experience
