Systems Engineer

Job Scope

The Systems Engineer is accountable to build, maintain and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure and operating systems coordinating with internal stakeholders on the assessment, design and upgrades.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business and technical requirements.
• Design end-to-end IT solutions across infrastructure domains (Compute, Storage, Virtualization, Backup, Networking, Security).
• Prepare technical proposals, BoQs, SOWs, and compliance documents aligned with customer RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Conduct solution presentations, demos, and technical workshops.
• Collaborate with OEMs/partners (e.g., Dell, VMware, Microsoft, etc.) for solution validation and sizing.
• Ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, cost-effective, and scalable.
• Support commercial teams in bid strategy, costing, and solution positioning.
• Act as a technical lead during project delivery, ensuring smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
• Coordinate with internal delivery teams, partners, and customer stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to SOW, milestones, and SLAs.

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field

Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure Solutions.
• Strong experience in Data Centre & Infrastructure solutions:

• • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
  • Storage (Dell preferable)
  • Backup & DR solutions
  • Networking & Security fundamentals
• Good understanding of cloud and hybrid architectures.
• Familiar with Dell Solution configurator and sizer tools
• Familiarity with container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes/OpenShift) is an advantage.
• Ability to develop high-level and low-level solution designs (HLD/LLD).
