Job Scope
The Specialist - Sales is accountable for generating sales through maintaining strong relationships with customers and developing new opportunities and partnerships. S/He achieves predefined sales targets, negotiates prices and manages quality and consistency of product and service delivery focusing on end-user business - covering Dubai and Northern Emirates
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Sales Director in setting the sales targets and preparing periodic forecasts accordingly;
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with existing customers through continuous visits, updates and other initiatives;
- Study the market for potential clients, approach and build new partnerships leading to sales growth and new opportunities;
- Visit customers to review product/service needs, update orders and follow up on deliverables and other pending issues accordingly;
- Negotiate and finalize prices and terms of payments with customers within approved brackets and report on action taken and closed deals;
- Update customers regularly on any product/service changes, new introductions and modifications;
- Maintain and update customers’ accounts and database on a regular basis;
- Grant payment facilities and set the credit limit profile for each customer with respect to payments and order history in coordination with the Direct Manager;
- Deal with customers’ complaints taking appropriate decisions and report consequent actions to concerned;
- Conduct regular market visits, prepare a competitors analysis report and build recommendations to increase sales and enhance market positioning;
- Coordinate with the concerned departments on the introduction of new products/services in the market and stay abreast on modifications and latest changes;
- Maintain a smooth workflow with other units namely marketing, accounting and supply chain coordinating campaigns, sales metrics and timely deliverables.
Position Requirements
3-5 years of experience in the end-user business with a focus on driving and improving sales for the HPI business.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or any other related field
