Senior Sales Engineer

Job Scope

The Senior Sales Engineer is accountable for generating leads, liaising with clients / consultants / contractors, presenting solutions to prospective customers and delivering product demonstrations in cooperation with the sales team. S/He gathers and validates technical requirements for appropriate recommendations and responds to RFI’s and RFP’s with techno-commercial proposal aligned with the RFP requirements, subsequent follow up, engaging in negotiations, eventually winning the deals. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generating leads, building Rapport with clients.
  • Preparing sales forecast and working rigorously to achieve sales targets.
  • Create and provide effective presentations, product demonstrations and technical support during the selling cycle;
  • Engage appropriate internal resources namely sales, product management and marketing among others to help close opportunities;
  • Engaging with suppliers and learning the industry trends;
  • Attend to sales calls and technical inquiries;
  • Assist in qualifying opportunities validating technical requirements and providing appropriate product recommendations;
  • Follow-up with prospective customers during evaluation phase;
  • Carefully reviewing the RFI’s and RFP’s and preparing Techno-commercial proposal.

Position Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in data center industry, selling products and/or solutions.

Deep technical insights on data center related cooling and power products, i.e. Generators, UPS, batteries, CRAC, FWU, Chillers, Racks & accessories, DCIM.

Hands on experience on CRM tool and other AI tools

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.

Experience

At least 6 years of relevant experience
