Job Scope
The Marketing Manager is accountable for developing and leading on the strategic marketing plan and growth strategy of the company covering external communication and PR, branding, positioning, digital and other marketing related activities. S/He builds a competitive edge facing market dynamics in alignment with the company vision leading the team for optimal performance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Technical and Operations
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy ensuring alignment with the company strategy and objectives meeting, in parallel, customers’ needs and maximizing profits
- Define the yearly marketing business plan based on extensive and comprehensive market research and company objectives
- Research and analyze market trends and competitors and develop marketing plans, campaigns and activities accordingly
- Create targeted marketing campaigns that help raise brand and service awareness using different mediums and channels and addressing different audiences and segments
- Plan and lead on the digital marketing strategy for the company
- Set and manage the marketing budget, monitor the effective utilization by adhering to the guidelines whilst optimizing costs and assessing return on investment
- Develop and implement a creative calendar of events that fosters traffic and increases customer engagement
- Design a solid CSR strategy and follow through the implementation with internal and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain solid relationships with key industry players, partners and agencies to best serve the interests of the company
- Continuously coordinate with internal stakeholders for successful initiatives and results
- Create and develop reports and analyze data and figures to be used in future campaigns and activities
- Develop creative briefs for all communication platforms including print, digital and video
- Conceptualize, create engaging content and implement campaigns ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
Talent Development
- Ensure that human capital and capabilities are aligned with the company HR strategy at a departmental level
- Act as an agent of change and challenge departmental structures and processes to accompany change initiatives
- Lead and coach the team cultivating empowerment and ownership
- Develop capabilities and secure a solid succession plan.
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Advertising.
Experience
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
