Partner Business Manager - ELNA (Channel Sales Manager)
Job Scope
Are you ready to embark on a mission to forge strategic partnerships that drive profitability and sustainable growth? We are seeking a dynamic Partner Business Manager to join our team at Commvault? As a key player in our ecosystem, you will 'own' and cultivate relationships with nominated partners, elevating Commvault's presence and ensuring the achievement of quarterly revenue targets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve booking goals established on a quarterly basis
- Build GTM business plans to lay the foundation upon which to execute
- Drive interest in offerings within partners
- Identify and develop relevant resources with the partner community
- Present CVLT portfolio and value to partners.
- Scout for opportunities and penetrate accounts to increase market share
- Identify stakeholders within partners and set a regular business cadence
- Cultivate and own relationships with partners
- Develop a pipeline to grow footprint and achieve and outperform goals set
- Nurture and develop focus partners by coaching, mentoring, and assisting partners sales teams
- Regularly meet with partner and conduct partner pipeline review meetings with their sales teams
- Plan, develop and deliver demand generation activities to create pipeline
- Conduct regular forecasts, reviews and business reviews with partners and distributors
- Initiate measure and manage account plans
- Demonstrate real client care and achieve complete client satisfaction
- Run regular business reviews to deliver consistent business
- Develop strong relationships with sales and presales to create champions with partners
- Increase brand awareness and mindshare within the partner community
- Create sponsors within partner ecosystem
- Evangelize Commvault within the partner organizations and drive engagement at an executive, marketing and sales level between the partner organisation and Commvault
- Keep abreast of new technology and its impact on partnership relations.
- Have regular dialogue with internal management and stakeholders about the channel ecosystem (what works / what doesn’t work)
Position Requirements
- Proven experience in selling (preferably software) through Resellers and distributors.
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to acquire the best possible terms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- Self-initiative, self-motivation, collaborative approach, and great teammate mentality.
- Knowledge of creating detailed and executable account plans using enterprise sales methodology.
- Understanding of the industry, products, competitors, emerging trends, and changing marketplace.
- Proven ability to articulate the company's value proposition and present solutions effectively.
- Strong history of achieving annual targets and quotas.
- French Speaking is highly recommended and preferred.
Experience
5-7 years of proven experience in channel sales, selling through resellers / distributors.
