S4HANA Functional Manager

Job Scope

The S4HANA Functional Manager is accountable for building strong relationships with customers, advising and meeting their project needs and requirements. S/He handles projects from planning to implementation through coordinating project deliverables and overseeing a team of Consultants.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Technical and Operations

• Supervise a team of S4HANA Consultants in all ERP Areas;
• Gather customer requirements, understand their needs and analyze scope of work needed;
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures; 
• Support RFx completion in support of customer proposals;
• Provide end to end project control including but not limited to configuration workbooks (BBP, FSDs,TSDs), project plans, minutes of meeting, communication, weekly PM meetings, signoffs and project closure;
• Allocate internal resources to deliver outcomes as per agreement in place in coordination with the direct manager;
• Manage the required resources and ensure all projects deliverables fall within time, scope, quality and cost constraints;
• Understand pain points, gaps and requirements and manage the project based on the scope and timelines boundaries;
• Support project success criteria and objectives involving relevant stakeholders ensuring technical feasibility and desired quality;
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;

• Lead and coach the team cultivating empowerment and ownership;
• Manage Team Learning and career paths
• Develop capabilities and secure a solid succession plan;
• Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs and oversee development plans

Position Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries
• Understand the core process of business processes (Procure to pay, Order To cash etc.)
• Team Management
• SAP Certification 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information systems, Computer Science or Engineering;

Experience

At least 7-8 years of relevant experience in simiar S4HANA role.
