Job Scope
The Lead Specialist - Legal is accountable for providing advanced legal support and guidance to stakeholders across the region. The role ensures the timely preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and corporate governance matters while proactively mitigating legal risks, promoting compliance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of legal processes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on data protection matters (GDPR) to all business stakeholder;
- Actively monitor EU-level data protection developments and regulatory guidelines;
- Conduct gap analyses across the assigned market for GDPR documentations;
- Draft and update all kind of agreements and policies related to data protection;
- Establish cross-border compliance strategies;
- Ensure that company operates within the applicable laws, regulations, ethics and integrity standards across all assigned markets, proactively identifying risks and proposing mitigation measures;
- Conduct advanced legal research, investigate complex issues and prepare, review, and refine legal documents and various contracts to protect the company’s interests and maximize legal rights;
- Draft, review, and refine letters, submissions, and legal communications to authorithies, partners, and institutions, ensuring alignment with legal standards and internal guidelines;
- Liaise with external law firms and/or lawyers on various legal matters and ensure that all practices, policies and business activities fall within legal boundaries under the supervision of the direct manager;
- Maintain an updated filing system and act as the custodian of legal documents;
- Learn and understand corporate and legal policies and practices and protect accessed confidential information;
- Review and draft agreements and legal documents including but not limited to distribution agreement, supplier agreement, non-disclosure agreements, HR documentations, and intercompany contracts;
- Maintain a positive approach and constructive communication with various stakeholders;
- Manage and execute legal administrative tasks with high accuracy and independence, supporting the Legal Manager in regional and cross-functional initiatives.

Education
Master’s degree in Law and specialization in Data Protection
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience
