Manager - Logistics Operations
Job Scope
The Manager - Logistics Operations is accountable for fulfilling a smooth ordering and delivery process while managing 3PL operations for the assigned region, handling outbound operations and managing inventory. S/He maintains communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Technical and Operations
- Study shipment routing and scheduling, consolidate freights and analyze costs optimizing delivery terms
- Manage outbound shipments, follow up with clearing and forwarding agents and monitor the turnaround time (TAT)
- Track outbound shipments in coordination with the sales and warehouse teams and update customers on a timely basis
- Process and document letter of credit (LC) for shipments
- Handle the freight management
- Report any defect/damaged product(s) or overage/shortage in merchandise to the Supply Chain Manager and follow up as necessary
- Verify customs documentation for exports and transfer of ownership
- Perform monthly stock audits
- Manage the stock movement through the warehouse management system
- Coordinate with the sales administration and credit teams for invoicing customer orders
- Prepare and maintain the warehouse petty cash
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all logistics information

- Lead and coach the team cultivating empowerment and ownership
- Develop capabilities and secure a solid succession plan
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs and oversee development plans

Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or any other related field
Experience
At least 7 years of relevant experience
