Job Scope

The Sales Engineer – ESM (Enterprise Service/Asset Management) will be responsible for market success for the Enterprise team. You will be responsible for communicating the ESM value proposition to Enterprise prospects. You will develop a strong partnership with your designated Territory Managers to provide a comprehensive and compelling message to executive and technology leaders across all industries within the region.

You will be leading interactive Pre-Sales discovery meetings, analysing customers’ current technology and architecture, operational and business needs. Owning deep-dive technical discussion, and then developing a tailor-made presentation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in technical/solutions design of the company products/services
  • Work with the Sales team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies and achieve set targets
  • Create specific accounts for product(s), service(s) and sales plans pertaining to the company products/services
  • Collaborate with the Sales team in qualifying opportunities, supporting and advising on the technical aspect of the sales lifecycle including technical qualification, presentation of solution proposals and high-level designs and demonstrations
  • Run, manage and drive proof of concepts (POC) and request for proposals (RFP) and close opportunities from a pre-sales and implementation perspective
  • Build sound relationships with partners and customers in support of sales objectives;
  • Lead technical sales calls
  • Manage adoption, integration and value generation of offered products/services within the customer/partner business and related IT infrastructure
  • Complete required pre-sales documentations in a quick and accurate manner
  • Develop content, train and support partners and customers
  • Respond to after-hours support queries during assigned rotations and escalate issues if needed
  • Put available systems into practice (salesforce.com CRM for leads, opportunity and deal registration management) for output efficiency and standardization.

Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of End-Point Management, Patch Management and Mobile Device Management is a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.

 

Experience

  • At least 3-5+ years of presales and implementation experience in the technologies of Service Management and Asset Management.
