Specialist - Renewals
Job Scope
The Specialist - Renewals supports the renewal of software maintenance and subscription contracts. This role works closely with customers, channel, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely renewals, maximize customer retention, and maintain recurring revenue
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor upcoming support expiration dates and proactively engage with customers and the channel regarding renewals.
Prepare and share renewal quotations based on vendor policies, 90 days in advance.
Follow up with the customer to identify and resolve renewal-related issues, in coordination with internal stakeholders, to drive timely renewal closure.
Collaborate with distributors and resellers to monitor renewal progress, identify potential risks, and ensure timely renewal closure.
Ensure renewal opportunities are accurately maintained in the CRM system, including customer details, renewal status, expected close dates, and forecast information.
Maintain a rolling 120-day renewal forecast and submit reports highlighting expected revenue and high-risk opportunities weekly.
Ensure compliance with vendor licensing policies and internal business processes.
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other related field.
Experience
1–2 years of experience in sales support, inside sales, renewals, or commercial operations.
Experience using CRM/ERP systems, preferably Salesforce.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
