Job Scope

The AppDev Consultant is accountable for managing the post-sales activities by proactively assessing solution specifications in light of changing customer requirements. S/He designs, plans and implements on-premises or cloud solutions for migration, analyzes current on-premises and provides solutions to customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Run, manage and drive proof of concepts (POC) and request for proposals (RFP) and close opportunities from a presales and implementation perspective
• Help customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage Microsoft services
• Work as a technical consultant alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams
• Work as both an infrastructure and application development specialist
• Implement DevOps practices such as infrastructure, continuous integration and automated deployment
• Participate in design, development, review and test efforts for App & Data Modernization
• Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with the company security policies and best practices in cloud security
• Provide deep software architecture knowledge with respect to cloud architecture and design patterns
• Identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
• Create and execute a roadmap to modernize applications and move them to Azure
• Use ARM, Azure Policy, Blueprints and other technologies as part of integrated deployment pipelines for new solutions in Azure
• Contribute to internal R&D projects and play an active role in the broader community
• Adhere to New Signature and Client Information Security policies and ensure compliance at all times
• Maintain and update technical qualifications to provide intensive technical consulting to prospective customers
• Lead technical sales calls

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field

Experience

At least 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
