Job Scope

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Ankara office in Turkey, specializing in IT security solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Endpoint Protection Platforms, Detection and Response, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and E-mail Security solutions. This role will involve providing technical expertise, supporting the sales process, and managing RFP and RFI responses. This position is crucial in helping clients choose and implement the most suitable security solutions by combining technical knowledge with business insights.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose tailored security solutions, specifically in Symantec and Carbon Black Endpoint Protection solutions, Symantec Data Loss Prevention solutions, and Symantec E-mail Security solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and Proof of Concept (PoC) activities for aforementioned solutions.
• Provide technical consultancy during the pre-sales phase, including workshops and customer meetings.
• Design and develop solution architectures that align with customer requirements.
• Lead the preparation, customization, and submission of RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFI (Request for Information) responses, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Provide consultation during the installation, integration, and configuration of security solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity trends, technologies, and competitive solutions to provide value-added insights to customers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, proposals, and customer-facing materials.
• Support the sales team in responding to technical queries and customer objections.
• Participate in trade shows, seminars, and other industry events to represent the company and its solutions.

Position Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Endpoint Protection Platforms, Detection and Response, Data Loss Prevention, and E-mail Security solutions.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining security solutions in these domains.
• Experience in preparing and managing RFP and RFI processes.
• Familiarity with endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat hunting, and incident response.
• Proficiency in network security concepts, firewalls, and email security solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or other related IT security certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, preferably in the IT security domain.
• Proven track record in preparing and managing RFP/RFI responses.
• Experience with advanced endpoint security platforms and threat-hunting tools.

This position is based at our Ankara office in Turkey. Candidates must be located in Ankara or willing to relocate.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.

Experience

At least 7 years of relevant experience.
