Human Resources Manager-LOB
Job Scope
The Human Resources Manager is accountable for setting the HR strategy and guiding the overall delivery of services, policies and programs through various initiatives. S/He leads the change management process and projects and acts as a point of contact with employees ensuring a healthy and positive employee/employer relationship by addressing demands, grievances and other issues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Technical and Operations
- Develop human resources related plans and strategies supporting the organization’s vision and implement efforts towards the achievement of the overall business objectives
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to the human resources function by overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, retention, training and reward system
- Apply change management strategies and initiatives coping with new challenges and market dynamics
- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs
- Partner with the management team to build an engaging work culture
- Assess and identify training needs while ensuring development plans are aligned with business objectives for continuous improvement of individuals, teams and organizational performance
- Increase employee engagement and motivation through regular on-site visits and foster an open-door policy
- Overlook the development of HR metrics, analyze results and design action plans as necessary
- Develop and monitor policies and procedures optimizing and standardizing operational workflows
- Establish and maintain a solid organization structure and recommend changes to job descriptions and hierarchies as needed
- Develop strong working relationships throughout all hierarchy levels by providing advice, guidance and counseling as needed
- Deal with any performance or grievance issues taking necessary actions to instill higher levels of accountability and ownership
- Support in the implementation and customization of the HXM SAP software
Talent Development
- Ensure that human capital and capabilities are aligned with the HR strategy
- Act as an agent of change and challenge structures and processes to accompany change initiatives
- Lead and coach the team cultivating empowerment and ownership
- Develop capabilities and secure a solid succession plan
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management
Experience
7 to 10 years of similar experience and minimum 2 to 3 years in a managerial role
