Technical Sales Engineer
Job Scope
- The Support Engineer is accountable for addressing technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining strong relationships with partners and end users and ensuring full satisfaction at all times.
- Review Customer Specifications, BOQs, and drawings for realistic pricing as per scope of work and assist with the formulation of order winning strategies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To submit a detailed response to the inquiry documentation and provide technical solutions to any subsequent requests for clarification. And develop costing as part of the quotation process.
- To respond to customer Questions and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- To work with the customers, prospect to ascertain the inquiry information necessary to produce sales proposals, including technical product selection, quotation document and costing through BOQs & Standard technical specifications.
- Battery Capacity calculations based on Load profiles, Battery breaker calculations, Rectifier rating calculations.
- Coordinating with factory and interacting with customers for any clarifications during Pre-order stage.
- Handling Post order clarifications/ Technical Support for order processing during order execution stage (if required).
- To attend resultant calls for negotiations with the customer and convert those opportunities to purchase orders.
- Frequent follow up with the customer regarding the status of the project.
- Estimating the budget of our product based on the overall project value.
- Interaction with the customer to discuss for an upcoming project.
- Business development and found new customers.
- Negotiate with the customer regarding delivery period, Payment terms and conditions, Type of delivery.
- Attending the meetings with customers and create an awareness on our products.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Position Requirements
- Good experience in handling projects with major companies like ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Offshore, SHELL
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with AC&DC UPS systems, DC chargers, LV Distribution boards, all industrial applications
