Senior Specialist - Sales
Job Scope
The Senior Specialist - Sales is accountable for driving revenue growth by fostering partner activation, co-selling, technical enablement, and go-to-market execution. S/He supports in setting and achieving sales targets, negotiates pricing, ensures product and service quality, and stays attuned to market dynamics.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Advocates IBM’s Partner Program to drive demand generation, opportunity progression, and solution co-creation
- Increases software revenue by activating Partner SELL Motion and executing joint go-to-market initiatives
- Works with IBM sellers, technical teams, VADs, and BPs to co-sell and position IBM technology
- Manages partner plans, co-marketing, enablement, and tools (e.g. ISC, PRM, MyDM)
- Expands partner capability across IBM platforms with value-based selling and practice development
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or any other related field
Experience
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in driving sales through Channel partners.
Experience in selling enterprise software solutions similar to IBM.
